Update

Well, well, well, what do we see on Friday morning? Powder! After a quick 2-3 inches accumulated on Thursday morning, there was a period of heavier snow on Thursday night that dropped 7 inches at mid-mountain, which brings the 24-hour report on Friday morning to 10 inches. Enjoy the powder!

Snow showers should continue through the day on Friday and into Friday night, and we will likely see at least another few inches of accumulation. Snow showers may continue, lightly, on Saturday into Saturday night, but I think accumulations will be on the low end.

The next storm will arrive on Sunday night and should bring snow through Wednesday morning. The best chance for powder will be on Tuesday and again Wednesday morning when 5-10 inches could accumulate.

After that storm, we should see dry weather during the end of next week, with another storm system perhaps hitting Steamboat during the weekend of March 4-5.
