Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
Following the 7 new inches that was available during first tracks on Tuesday, another couple of inches accumulated on Tuesday and Tuesday evening as snow showers moved across northern Colorado. Now on Wednesday morning, the storm has passed to our east and any morning clouds and flurries should give way to at least partly sunny skies by afternoon. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will also be sunny with temperatures rising a few degrees each day, reaching highs in the 30s on Friday and Saturday.
Our next chance for snow will occur on Sunday, Sunday night, and Monday. Most weather forecast models agree that the storm during these days will track across northern Colorado, but there is zero agreement about how much snow we’ll receive. Some models show just a dusting to an inch or two. Other models show 6+ inches. We’ll need to wait and see, but we do know that Steamboat is in a great position to benefit from this storm because Steamboat is located in far northern Colorado, closest to the storm track.
After the potential snow on Sunday and Monday, we should see dry weather for a few days during the middle of next week with the next potential snowfall around March 9-10.
