Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

It’s another gorgeous morning at Steamboat with single-digit temperatures at the base and readings in the 20s up on the hill. Mostly sunny skies on Saturday should push the temperature into the 30s and 40s across the hill, so dress in layers and remember to apply sunscreen!

Sunday will be a transition day with a few more clouds and a gusty afternoon wind, all ahead of the next storm that will bring a period of heavy snow between Sunday midnight and Monday at noon. This snowfall is perfectly timed to offer fresh powder on Monday morning, which will be much more enjoyable than going to work on Monday:-). I expect at least 3-6 inches by Monday morning, and we could see another few inches during the day on Monday thanks to scattered snow showers that will linger after the passage of the cold front.

Following this storm, next Tuesday through Friday should be dry, then we’ll have a chance for snow during the weekend of March 11-12 and through the week of March 13-17. Stay tuned!
