Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

The calendar says that it’s not yet spring, but it sure felt like it on Wednesday as the high temperature at the base nearly reached 50 degrees (with 30s on the hill). The storm track will continue to stay just north of Colorado, and Steamboat will be close enough to these storms to experience times of clouds mixed with the sunshine and warm temperatures.

The spring-like weather should continue through Friday, then a weak storm will bring snow on Friday night, likely dropping a coating to 2 inches, perfectly timed so that there should be a bit of fresh snow when you head up the hill on Saturday morning.

Another weak storm may move through northern Colorado on Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening, so there could be another coating to 2 inches during this time as well.

Looking further ahead, the beginning of next week should be dry and warm with a chance for some snow during the middle and end of the week.
