Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

Sunday is starting off mostly cloudy at Steamboat. Maybe the atmosphere is also tired after the clocks were sprung ahead one hour…

These clouds are thanks to a storm that will clip the northern mountains of Colorado, and this storm should bring enough energy and moisture to produce a few snow showers which might leave a dusting to an inch of snow, especially during the morning and midday hours.

Once this storm moves away, we should see partly-to-mostly sunny skies during most of the upcoming week, with perhaps a few more clouds and a flurry on Monday and Friday. Otherwise, we’ll see spring conditions with firm snow in the morning, softening by midday and high temperatures on the hill in the 40s.

Longer-range weather models all point toward a snowy weather pattern during the final 7 days of March and continuing through at least the first week of April. So enjoy the spring skiing now as I think we’ll get back to pow-town before the month is over:-)
