Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
Sunday was a mixed day with a few snow showers, times of clouds, and times of sunshine. Monday should also offer a mix of sun and clouds, but I think that the sunshine will win out for the majority of the day as morning temperatures in the 20s rise to the 30s and low 40s on the hill.
The rest of this week and the upcoming weekend will be mostly dry and mostly sunny. We may see a few more clouds at times as the storm track to our north drops a bit of moisture toward Colorado. Overall, this will be a week of spring skiing with firm snow in the morning due to cool overnight temperature, and then the snow surface will warm and soften by mid-morning. High temperatures will reach into the 40s on the hill with 50-60 degree readings at the base. Please remember to wear sunscreen and enjoy!
All longer-range models hint that we’ll return to stormy weather during the final 7ish days of March through early April, so it appears that we’ll have spring skiing for about another 7-10 days with powder potential after that. I’ll take it!
