Summary

- Sunny with highs in the 20's for Friday. Upper mountain wind gusts to 60 mph could affect some lift operations. - The weekend is sunny with highs into the 30's on the mountains and low 40's at lake level. Winds could still gust up to 40 mph on the ridges Saturday and then stronger for Sunday back up to 50+ mph. -New Year's Eve a cold front moves through with gusty winds. It drops temperatures back into the 20's for Monday. Then we start to warm Tuesday into the 30's. - Wednesday and beyond high pressure builds in over CA with highs warming into the 40's. Expecting a dry pattern to last through the first week of January. - The forecast models are at odds on whether or not storms return the 2nd week of January.
