Falling Snow Levels, Snow Showers Possible through the Weekend...

Summary

- The heaviest snow is moving in Wednesday morning. Then scattered snow showers are expected Wednesday night into Friday. Snow levels hovering around lake level today and then dropping to around 5,000 feet Wednesday night, and 4,000 feet Thursday night. Ridgetop winds gusting to 80 mph Wednesday, and 45+ mph Thursday. We could see 1-2 feet of additional snowfall on the mountains by Friday and several inches at lake level. - Colder weather for the weekend with highs in the 20's on the upper mountains and 30's at lake level. We could see sun & clouds with a chance for scattered snow showers Friday through Sunday. - A weak system moving through Tuesday could brush us with light snow. - We could see a drier pattern set up starting next Wednesday the 13th through the 3rd week of March. There are some signs the ridge could weaken later in the month and we could see some storms into the last week of March.
