Snow Wednesday, Snow Showers Thursday, Nice Weekend Ahead...
Summary
- Heavy snow expected Wednesday. Then lighter snow showers possible Wednesday night into Thursday before the storm completely clears out Thursday night. We could see 5-15 inches of snow on the mountains by Friday morning, and 1-6 inches at lake level. Snow levels near to just above lake level Wednesday, crashing to near 3,000 feet through Wednesday night, and back up to around 5,550 feet Thursday. We will see strong mountain top winds to 70+ mph, likely affecting some upper mountain lift operations Wednesday, then dropping to 45+ for Thursday. Highs in the 30's. - We will see a break Friday - Sunday with sunny skies and lighter winds. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level Fri-Sat, and then 40's & 50's for Sunday. - A few weak systems are possible early next week with some scattered light rain and snow showers possible Mon-Wed. Highs snow levels above 7,000 feet. Highs in the 40's. - Stronger systems are possible later in the week into the weekend of the 6th. Snow levels may continue to be high. The unsettled pattern could continue into the week of the 8th.
