Here Comes the Snow, Zero to Hero...
Summary
- The next storm moves in by Tuesday afternoon with heavy snow into Tuesday night. Moderate snow showers possible Wednesday with scattered light showers possible into Thursday. Snow levels are very low starting around 4,000 feet and falling below 2,000 feet at times. We could see 1.5-3 feet of snow on the mountains, and 1-2 feet at lake level. Highs in the 20s Wed-Fri with overnight lows in the teens. Strong winds Tuesday gusting to 70+ mph on the ridges should come down some Wednesday and lighter for Thursday. - We should see some sun for Friday but cold with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens and single digits. - The next storm is off the West Coast by Saturday morning. We could see some snow push in during the day on Saturday becoming heavy at times into Sunday. Snow levels start to rise but could stay near to just below lake level through Sunday. This storm could bring another 2-4 feet of snow through Sunday night. - The storm may stall off the coast continuing snow through Monday. Then we may see a break next Tue-Wed before more storms could move in later in the week.
