Dry, Dry, Dry...

Summary

- Mostly sunny skies Thursday - Saturday. highs into the 40s on the upper mountains & 50s at lake level. Lighter winds through Friday and then increasing on Saturday with gusts to 60+ mph possible by afternoon. - A cold front moves through from the north on Sunday morning with a quick shot of light snow possible. Temperatures drop into the 30s for highs. We will see strong northeast winds on the mountains making it feel even colder, and possibly closing some upper mountain lifts. Only expecting a dusting of snow at best for most locations, with up to 1 inch of snow possible on the mountains on the east side of the lake and south of the Tahoe Basin. - Expecting sunny skies for Monday-Tuesday with temperatures rebounding into the 40s at lake level. - A few more weak systems moving down from the north Wednesday, next Friday & Saturday could bring some colder air. Wednesday's front looks dry with some light snow possible with the following systems. Overall a dry pattern continues through the extended outlook.
