Tahoe Daily Snow

Game On...
Summary
Sunny with highs in the 40's through Thursday. Winds are light today and then will become breezy with gusts near 30 mph on the mountain tops Wednesday and Thursday. Friday the next storm moves in. The forecast models are in disagreement on whether it starts Friday morning or Friday evening. The snow levels are below lake level so all snow expected for the Tahoe basin into Saturday morning. We could see 1-2 feet of snow across the basin. Saturday and Sunday look fairly clear with sun and cold temperatures with highs in the 30's. Sunday night into Monday we may see another cold storm bring several inches of snow. The forecast models disagree on whether the storms continue the rest of the week. There is better agreement that a stronger storm could move in for New Years Eve.
