Don't Split...

Summary

Some light snow showers this morning and then we clear out. Expecting sun this afternoon and Thursday with highs in the 30's to low 40's. Winds will gust to around 30 mph on the mountain tops. Friday morning snow moves in along with stronger winds. We should have snow falling all day and into Friday night. Then on Saturday we will should have some lingering snow showers and much colder air. We could see over a foot of snow across the Tahoe basin from the storm. The sun comes out Sunday but the highs Saturday and Sunday should only be in the 20's. Next week we have a chance for light snow Monday and again Tuesday night. But overall we may have drier weather with a break in the storms. Highs should be in the 30's the first half of the week, and then warming the 2nd half. The next chance for a significant storm looks like it could be around New Years Day.
