Slow Down...

Summary

Today will be sunny with highs in the 40's. Light winds except for gusts to 25 mph on the mountain tops. A cold storm quickly moves in Friday morning bringing moderate to heavy snowfall through the day. Friday night snow showers will continue to pile up the snow. Then the snow tapers off Saturday. We could see 4-12 inches at lake level and 6-18 inches on the mountains, with the higher amounts on the West side of the lake. Winds will be strong Friday gusting over 65 mph on the mountain tops. Cold air moves in for the weekend so Saturday and Sunday highs will only be in the 20's as the sun comes back out for Sunday. Next week we start sunny and cold Monday and then sunny and warmer the rest of the week as we warm into the low 40's at lake level, and 30's on the mountains. The next chance for a storm is around New Years Eve.
