Friday Morning Storm Update...

Summary

Cold, windy, and snowy today as the storm moves through. Temperatures will be in the 30's and winds will be gusty with gusts over 65 mph on the mountain tops. The snow showers continue tonight into Saturday before tapering off by Saturday afternoon. We could see 3-8 inches at lake level, and 8-13 inches on the mountains by Saturday afternoon. Sunday and Monday the sun comes out but it stays cold. Highs Saturday through Monday should stay in the 20's. Then as high pressure builds in we start to warm into the 40's starting Tuesday through the end of the week. We should stay dry through Friday. The forecast models are still in disagreement, but the next chance for a storm looks to be either New Years Eve or New Years Day.
