Heavy Snow Today Thru Wednesday...
Summary
Temperatures have warmed overnight into the upper 20's. Heavier snow is moving in today and will continue into Wednesday Night before tapering off Thursday. Totals could be 2-3 feet at lake level, and 3-5 feet on the mountains by Thursday. We have a break Thursday into Friday as some colder air moves in. We should see some sun and gusty winds Friday as the next storm approaches. We start as all snow Saturday morning as a very strong storm moves in. Snow levels rise 7000 feet by Saturday afternoon. Heavy precip continues into Monday. Snow levels rise to 8000 feet Saturday night and 8500 feet by Sunday morning. Then fall to 8000 feet Sunday afternoon, and to lake level by Monday morning. The snow should taper off by Monday night. We could see 1-2 feet of snow at lake level and 2-4 feet at 7000 feet. Some of that coming before heavy rain Saturday night through Sunday night, and the rest Monday. Above 8000 feet we could see 4-7 feet of snow on the mountains. More storms possible next week.
