Slow Mover...

Summary

Sunny and mild today through Tuesday with highs in the 40's. Wednesday clouds and winds increase as the next storm approaches. This will be a slow moving storm that will bring rain and snow from Wednesday night through Friday night. The heaviest snowfall appears to be with the cold front Thursday night into Friday. Snow levels fluctuate between 6000-7000 feet through the storm. We could see 8-18 inches of snowfall at lake level by Saturday morning, and 13-42 inches on the mountains. Next weekend the storm clears out. The storm track looks like it will remain active to our North in the long-range. It is possible some of the storms push far enough South to bring precip to the Tahoe basin.
