Summary

Windy and Rainy today with wind gusts to 130 mph on the mountain tops. Snow levels sitting around 9000 feet. Highs will be in the 40's. Tonight heavy precipitation continues with snow levels lowering overnight. Snow levels start around 9000 feet and are around 6500 feet by Morning. We could see 6-14 inches on the mountains above 7000 feet. Friday snow showers continue with snow levels dropping below lake level. We could see 1-3 inches at lake level and 2-6 inches on the mountains. Wind gusts dropping to around 50 mph on the mountain tops. Snow showers should taper off Friday night with only light accumulations. For the weekend the sun comes out with highs in the 30's to near 40 at lake level by Sunday. The nice weather continues through next Wednesday. Temperatures continue to warm into the 40's and then to near 50 by Wednesday. There may be a pattern change starting next Thursday with a series of storms pushing into the West Coast that may bring a return of snow.
