Watching four upcoming storms

Summary

We'll see dry weather from Tuesday to Wednesday, then four storms will bring snow from Thursday, January 4 to Thursday, January 11.

Update

Monday was dry and partly cloudy with a high temperature in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunnier with mostly clear skies and high temperatures in the 20s. Just before sunrise on Tuesday morning, we can see clear skies and stars in this webcam image.

From Wednesday night to Friday morning, a storm will track to the south of Colorado and we'll likely see light to moderate accumulations with 2-6 inches of snow and some possible powder either later on Thursday or early on Friday. The temperature on both days will be colder with a high in the teens.

From Friday night to Saturday, the next storm will track over Colorado and we have a decent chance of seeing a few inches of snow accumulation. The high temperature on Saturday will again be in the teens.

From Sunday to Monday, a storm will again track to the south of Colorado and I still think that a wide range of 4-12 inches is a decent forecast with reasons for both the low and the high end. If we get the higher end of the range, then watch for possible powder during the day on Sunday as well as the first chair on Monday morning. likely in the low single digits. Both Sunday and Monday's temperatures will be cold with a high of about 10°F.

Tuesday and Wednesday will likely be drier and chilly days with a high temperature in the teens.

Then from later Wednesday to Thursday, a storm is possible and this one could track more directly over Colorado. If this happens, we'll have a high-ish chance of significant snow accumulation.
