Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Telluride Daily Snow

No new snow, dry through the weekend, then a significant storm

Summary

Unfortunately, we did not see any measurable snow on Wednesday night. Thursday to Sunday will be dry, and then an intense storm will bring snow next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Update

Wednesday Night

On Wednesday night, I expected a storm to the north to deliver at least a bit of accumulation to Telluride, but this did not happen as the snow stayed to our north.

Thursday

Thursday will start with a mix of clouds and sun, and we should see a trend toward mostly sunny skies during the day. The high temperature will be in the low 20s.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (February 23-25) will be dry and mostly sunny. Friday's high temperature will be in the mid-20s, and Saturday and Sunday will be warmer with a high temperature of around 30-35°F.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

An intense storm will bring snow to Colorado on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (February 26-28). On Monday, we may see some fresh snow by the last chair, Tuesday will bring gusty winds and intense snow with free refills during the day, and Wednesday morning will be cold with snow ending and lots of soft snow and potentially untracked powder if the snow continues to fall on Tuesday night. Total accumulations should be 10-20+ inches and I'll refine the details of the forecast during the coming days.

Longer Range

We will see dry weather from Wednesday, February 28 to Saturday, March 2. Then another storm may arrive at some point between Sunday, March 3, and Friday, March 8, though at this point, I have zero confidence about the weather details for that week.

My next update will be Friday morning.
