Telluride Daily Snow

Dry on Sunday, some snow Monday, and powder on Tuesday
Summary
Sunday will be dry and warm. The first part of the storm should bring some snow on Monday, and then we'll see intense snow from Monday night through Tuesday afternoon, with powder all day on Tuesday.
Update
Saturday
Saturday was sunny and warm with a high in the upper 20s to low 30s. Then on Saturday night, the combination of a full moon and clear skies lit up the landscape almost like it was daytime.
Upcoming Storm
The storm is still on track and we'll see some snow on Monday, intense snow from Monday night through Tuesday, and snow ending by Tuesday at midnight. I still think that total snowfall will be 15-20 inches.
For snow quality, expect somewhat thicker snow on Monday into early Tuesday due to warm temperatures and fast winds, and then we should transition to fluffier snow during the day on Tuesday and Tuesday night.
Monday
Monday could bring 1-5 inches of new snow with softer conditions possible at some point during the day. I have low confidence in the forecast for this day. A positive factor is the jet stream, which will be over Colorado and could produce periods of intense snow. Negative factors include a somewhat unfavorable wind direction and warm temperatures. I view any snow that falls on Monday to be a bonus.
Monday's temperature will be in the upper 20s.
Tuesday
Monday night through Tuesday will deliver intense snow and gusty winds. Snowfall should be 6-12+ inches, with powder on Tuesday morning and conditions getting deeper through midday and perhaps through the afternoon.
Tuesday's temperature will start around 20°F and drop to around 10°F by the afternoon.
Wednesday
On Tuesday afternoon and evening, we should see at least a few inches of new snow, then the snow will end by Tuesday at midnight.
Wednesday morning should feature leftover powder with some softness on top due to any snow that falls on Tuesday evening. Also, any terrain that does not open on Tuesday due to the storm will be untracked on Wednesday morning.
Wednesday's skies will be sunny, and temperatures will be close to 0°F in the morning with rapid warming into the teens by the late morning.
Longer Range
From Wednesday, February 28 to Saturday, March 2, expect dry weather with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures of around 30°F.
The next storm should bring snow between Sunday, March 3 to Tuesday, March 5, and I think that the best chance for a powder day will be on Monday, March 4.
After that, we will likely see another storm around Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10.
My next update will be Monday morning.
