This Week
Tuesday morning will dawn with dry weather and partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and chilly with a daytime high temperature of 15-20°F. Also, the one inch of snow that fell during Monday's showers should keep conditions on the softer side.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and dry with a daytime high temperature of around 20°F. During the late afternoon, the next storm will arrive and there might be a few flakes in the air.
Thursday should bring some snowflakes with light accumulation, though Telluride will be on the far southern edge of the storm. Thursday will be warmer with a high of 25-30°F.
Friday will be dry, sunny, and warmer with a high temperature of around 35°F.
Saturday should be dry and warm, but it's possible that an incoming storm could produce some snow later in the day.
Longer Range
From Sunday, January 5 through at least Sunday, January 12, Colorado will be on the southern edge of the storm track. During this time, multiple storms should brush by Colorado, and each of these systems could produce anything from a few flakes to many inches of snow.
At the moment, it does not appear that any of these storms will bring a lot of snow, but I am hopeful that there will be snow in the air on many days, and that this would lead to reasonably soft and fun conditions across the mountain.
