Monday Morning
The storm on Sunday night stayed mostly to the north of Telluride (as expected) though the mountain did pick up about a half inch of new snow.
Also, wind speeds were gusty on Sunday night, reaching 40-60mph at the summit, and the wind is now trending slower on Monday morning.
During the day on Monday, there could be additional flakes in the air, but it'll generally be a dry day with a chilly high temperature in the teens and a lingering gusty wind at the summit.
This Week
Tuesday will be mostly dry and partly sunny with a high in the teens, though there could be a brief snow shower.
Wednesday should be dry and partly sunny with a high in the low 20s.
Wednesday night and Thursday will bring another storm that will track to the north of Telluride and the mountain could see just a few flakes.
Friday and Saturday should be dry, partly sunny, and warmer with a high temperature in the low 30s.
Longer Range
The next storm should bring snow sometime from later Saturday through Monday (January 4-6). This still (or series of storms) will also likely stay to the north of Telluride, though there could be light snow accumulation if any of the systems wobble just a bit farther to the south.
