Tuesday
On Tuesday, the snow stake is dry and it'll be another warm day.
The high temperatures will be around 40°F and winds will be gusty with speeds of 25-40 mph at the summit.
Wednesday
Wednesday will be dry, temperatures will be a little cooler with a high in the mid-30s, and winds will gust to 30-40 mph.
On Wednesday night, a storm tracking to the north of Colorado is unlikely to bring flakes far enough south to reach Telluride, so the evening should be dry.
Thursday
Thursday will be dry with a high temperature in the mid-30s and manageable winds that gust to 25-35 mph.
Friday
Friday will be the final day of warmer temperatures and gusty winds. Like earlier in the week, the high temperature should be in the mid-30s and wind gusts could reach 30-40 mph.
On Friday night, a fast-moving storm will bring snow from Friday sunset to Saturday sunrise. This storm will deliver the most snow to northern Colorado, and in the southern mountains, Telluride might eke out a coating to 2 inches of accumulation.
Saturday
If any snow falls on Friday night, Saturday morning could offer a little refresh on the groomers. Saturday's high temperature will be in the low-to-mid 20s, and wind speeds will be slower and not an issue.
Longer Range
Sunday and Monday (February 9-10) should be dry.
Then from Friday 11-19, multiple storms will roam around the western U.S.
One or many of these storms will likely bring snow to Colorado, but I have zero confidence in the details of the forecast, so we'll sit tight for now and hope to figure out the mid-February forecast over the coming days to a week.
