Extreme Stoke

Summary

Snow showers today become heavier late tonight thru Monday morning as the next wave moves thru. Another system for Tuesday into Tuesday night. Then another for Thursday night into Friday.

Short Term Forecast

So. Much. Snow.

This latest wave overdelivered yet again. This pattern has been even more fruitful than I expected, and to be honest, I expected a lot. Just look at some of the snowcams this morning:

Snowfall totals so far are impressive. 21-24" in the Cottonwood Canyons. 14" at Park City but looks to be higher in places. 10" at Snowbasin. Still a few places not reporting yet at 5:30am... Remember, this is falling on some already impressive totals. It is going to be so deep out there in places today!

Off and on snow showers today with some light additional accumulation, the next wave pushes in early Monday morning and snow thru the morning hours into the early afternoon. Another 5-10" with higher amounts likely in the favored areas that have already been pounded.

A break Monday night, then the next system on Tuesday with additional accumulation.

A longer break Wednesday and Thursday before one final system for Thursday night into Friday.

Extended Forecast

Extended forecast looks like we may see a break next weekend into the following week. I can't spend much time worrying about that though.

Stoke is EXTREME for the first time this season!
