Sunny weekend, big storm early week

Summary

After 1-2 feet of new snow the last couple of days, we will see partly to mostly sunny skies around Northwest ski areas this weekend. Unfortunately, that respectable new snow is not enough snow to have widespread openings. We still could use another 2-4 foot. We’ll see part of that desired snowfall Monday and Tuesday, but with a catch.
