Update
Welcome to the Winter Daily Snow for the 2018-2019 season!
I will write a fresh update every day through the end of the season in April 2019. We will talk about current snow conditions, the weather forecast, and especially when we can expect the next storms and deep powder days.
Our current snowpack is about 200% of average thanks to two early-season storm cycles in early October and early November. The mountain cams look amazing as the mountain is white from base to summit, and the natural snow depth is about 25 inches at mid-mountain.

Saturday night and Sunday morning were dry, then clouds increased and snow showers began on Sunday late morning.
While the track of the current storm and a light wind from the east is not favorable for intense snow at Winter Park, we should still be able to grab 1-4 inches of snow on Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.
In the wake of the storm, temperatures on Monday will be near 0F and readings will only warm to the teens on Monday. These cold temperatures are great for snowmaking efforts which are ongoing across the mountain.
Looking ahead, expect dry weather for the rest of the week leading to opening day on Friday, November 16.
The dry weather will likely stick around through early Thanksgiving week, then most longer-range models show a good chance for stormy weather to return starting within a few days of Thanksgiving and continuing into early December.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
