Update
Snow conditions
Mid-mountain: 0” on Sunday night, 0” since Sunday AM, 14” since Thursday
Our internal analysis has the snowpack at 168% compared to the 30-year average.
Terrain update
13 of 21 lifts, 46 (+5 over yesterday) of 167 trails. Latest updates.
Monday and Tuesday
Monday will be sunny with highs in the 20s and Tuesday will bring more clouds with highs in the 30s.
Storm #1: Wednesday & Thursday
Expect times of light-to-moderate snow from late Tuesday night through Thursday morning. Total snowfall should be 2-5 inches with the best powder on Thursday morning. This is a weak system but with adequate moisture, we should be able to squeak out decent snow totals. Every flake counts!
Storm #2: Friday & Saturday
I think we’ll see some snow on Friday but the wind direction from the southwest could keep snow totals lower. Our better chance for significant snow could be Friday late afternoon through Saturday morning when the wind direction switches to blow from the northwest. For the best powder (maybe more than 6 inches), keep your eye on Saturday morning.
Storm #3: Sunday – Tuesday
I can’t offer details yet, but it looks like snow chances will continue into early next week and temperatures could be the coldest of the three upcoming storms.
Outlook
Colder air and snow could stick around through the end of next week then we might see a period of drier weather starting about December 7th.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
