Update
Snow conditions
Mid-mountain: 0” on Monday night, 0” since Monday AM
Our internal analysis has the snowpack at 160% compared to the 30-year average.
Terrain update
13 of 21 lifts, 46 (+5 over yesterday) of 167 trails. Latest updates.
Tuesday
More sun in the morning and more clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the low 30s.
Storm #1: Wednesday & Thursday
Expect times of light snow on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Then we should see more intense snow on Wednesday night through Thursday midday. Total snowfall should be 2-5 inches with the best powder on Thursday morning and midday. This is a weak and disorganized system, but due to a good amount of moisture moving in, it could produce a sneaky-fun day on Thursday.
Storm #2: Friday & Saturday
I think we’ll see some snow on Friday but the wind direction from the southwest could keep snow totals lower. Our better chance for significant snow could be Friday late afternoon through Saturday morning when the wind direction switches to blow from the west and northwest. Keep your eye on Saturday morning for the best powder, with a storm total (Friday + Saturday) in the 4-7 inch range.
Storm #3: Sunday – Tuesday
The forecast has changed and it now looks like this storm will target areas further south and east. We will likely see some snow and very cold air, though snow totals could be on the lower side.
Outlook
Colder air and snow could stick around through the end of next week then we might see a period of drier weather between about December 8-12 with more snow returning around December 12.
