Winter Park Daily Snow

Warm through Wednesday, then snow Thursday at Winter Park
Summary
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be sunny and warm with high temperatures close to 30°F. Then snow will return on Thursday and Thursday night.
Short Term Forecast
Sunday was a chilly day with high temperatures barely getting above 10°F. But we saw sunshine for most of the day, and the higher sun angle of springtime can make temperatures feel warmer than they actually are.
Speaking of springtime, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be the first days this season to really feel like spring. We’ll see sunny skies each day, high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s, and it’ll feel glorious to be outside.
On Thursday, the latest forecasts show that a storm from the south will track farther to the north than we previously thought it would, and this is good news. We will see snowflakes on Thursday and Thursday night, with the best chance for the most snow between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Let’s pencil in 2-6 inches for now and we can update this forecast in the next few days. This will not be a big storm, but maybe it’ll give us a little refresh by Friday morning.
Extended Forecast
Between March 5-10th, the main story will be a spring-like feel with warmer temperatures that could reach into the upper 30s to low 40s. During this 6-day stretch, there could be a few weak storms that brush by Colorado, but I am keeping my snow expectations very low.
Then, after about March 10th, the latest models continue to show that a stormy weather pattern will set up between the west coast and Colorado, and this should lead to more chances for snow as we get into the middle of March. While it will feel like spring at times during the next 10 days, don’t put away your powder skis/board just yet.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
