The snow total plus the end-of-week storm

Summary

Monday night's storm dropped 2 inches at mid-mountain. There will be a stronger storm on Thursday into Friday.

Update

Going into Monday night's storm, we were expecting 2-4 inches and we wound up with about 2 inches at mid-mountain. We'll take it.

Tuesday will be mostly dry with just a few snow showers around and highs in the 20s.

Wednesday will also be mostly dry with maybe an afternoon snow shower and highs will be in the 20s.

Our next chance for snow will be from a storm from Wednesday night through Friday evening. This storm will have lots of energy and lots of moisture, and I feel good about snow totals somewhere around the 4-8 inch range, maybe more if we're lucky. The most intense snow should fall on Thursday night into Friday morning.

Beyond that storm, we should stay dry through the weekend, and our next chance for some snow (maybe not a strong storm) will be between December 14-16. After that, the week of December 20-24 should be active/stormy around the west, and hopefully, that will translate into more snow here in Colorado.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
