Next Chances for Snow

Summary

Wednesday will be sunny, Thursday will bring a chance for light snow, then our next chance for more snow will be in early February.

Update

On Tuesday, we started the day with 1 inch of snow, then we saw snow showers during the day which added another 1 inch of snow. The snow stake cam is down, but the mountain operations team is working to get it back up ASAP.

Now on Wednesday, we'll enjoy a gorgeous day with sunny skies, chilly morning temperatures in the single digits, and warmer afternoon temperatures rising into the teens.

On Thursday, expect more clouds, some snow showers with just light accumulations (a dusting to maybe an inch or two), and chilly temperatures around 10-15°F.

On Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, it'll be four days with sunny skies and warmer temperatures that top out in the 20s and low 30s.

Our next chance for snow will likely be on Tuesday, February 1st, with additional chances for snow through about Friday, February 4th. My early thought for these days is that while we should see snow, the storm track from the northwest will not bring a lot of moisture, so the storms may not bring significant snowfall. But this snowfall is still about 7-10 days away, and the forecast will change in some direction – let's hope that it changes in the snowier direction.
