A little snow on Thursday, then four days of sunshine

Summary

We will see some snow on Thursday with just light accumulations, then the next four days will be dry, sunny, and warmer.

Update

Wednesday was a perfect January day with sunny skies and cool temperatures that rose into the teens during the day.

On Wednesday night, the next storm dropped a quick one inch of fluffy snow accumulation on the mid-mountain snow stake.

During the day on Thursday, a storm with very little moisture will move across Colorado. We should see a few more flakes, though accumulations will be light, likely just another 1-3 inches. Temperatures will be chilly, only topping out in the low teens.

On Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, it'll be four days with sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Readings will rise to around 20°F on Friday, then it will be warmer on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with highs in the upper 20s and 30s.

Our next chance for snow will be from Tuesday, February 1, to Wednesday, February 2. This storm will likely not take a favorable track to bring us a lot of snow, but we could still see solid accumulations and maybe softer turns sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday. Also, another piece of storm energy could drift over Colorado later next week, and that could bring another round of light snow on Thursday, February 3, to Friday, February 4.
