A little snow on Thursday, then four days of sunshine

Summary

We will see some snow on Thursday with just light accumulations, then the next four days will be dry, sunny, and warmer.

Update

On Thursday, one inch of fluffy snow fell on top of the one inch that accumulated just before sunrise.

Now on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, it'll be four days with sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Friday will be cooler with a high around 20°F, then the high temperature on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will rise to the upper 20s to mid-30s. Each morning could feature a temperature inversion, where temperatures at the base are 5-15 degrees colder than temperatures higher up on the mountain.

Our next chance for snow will be from a storm that moves through on Tuesday, February 1, to Wednesday, February 2. There is a high likelihood that we will see snow during these days, but there is also a pretty high likelihood that the amount of snow will be on the lower side. Still, there could be some soft turns on Tuesday and/or Wednesday, and if the storm takes a somewhat more favorable track, our snow totals could wind up being more significant.

Following the storm on February 1-2, there could be light snow showers during February 3-5, and then there's about a 50/50 chance that we could see a moderate or strong storm during the following week of February 7-11.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
