Dry through Monday, then a midweek storm

Summary

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be mostly sunny and warm, and then snow will return on Tuesday.

Update

Friday was a stunningly beautiful day with crystal clear blue skies and daytime temperatures in the low 20s.

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will also be dry and mostly sunny days. There are a few caveats to this simple forecast, though. Each morning there could be a temperature inversion where temperatures at the base are cooler (close to 0-5°F) and temperatures up on the mountain are warmer (close to 20°F). Also, on Monday, we will likely see more clouds filtering the sunshine and maybe gustier winds as well.

The next storm will arrive on Tuesday and we should see our best chance for snow during Tuesday afternoon and into Tuesday evening. Total snowfall will likely be in the 3-6 inch range and the best chance to enjoy the softest snow will likely be on Wednesday morning and midday.

Following the midweek storm, we could see another chance for light snow late in the week, again during the weekend of February 5-6, and there might be another storm later during the following week, sometime between February 9-12.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
