Little somethings to talk about
Summary
We'll see a few flakes on Wednesday night and again on Friday night. After that, our next chance for decent snowfall will be around February 15-16.
Update
Tuesday was a gorgeous, sunny day with high temperatures close to 30°F.
Wednesday and Thursday will be cloudier with highs in the 20s and the potential for some snowflakes.
The latest forecast models have all trended downward with the snow potential, which is now around a dusting to maybe an inch or two, mostly on Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning. Don't hold your breath for fresh snow, but maybe we'll see some flakes.
On Friday into Saturday morning, another weak storm will deliver the possibility of snowflakes. The likelihood of decent snowfall from this storm is also trending down, but it will be a bit stronger than the system on Wednesday night and maybe we'll squeeze out an inch or two of snow, or, if we're lucky like we were last weekend, this system will bring a favorable wind from the north-northwest and north and we could outperform the forecast, leading to some fluffy powder on Saturday morning.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will all be dry with lots of sunshine. Temperatures on Saturday will be in the 20s and then on Sunday and Monday, we'll warm up with highs in the 30s.
Our next chance for more meaningful snowfall will be Tuesday, February 15 into Wednesday, February 16. Right now, this does not look like a significant storm, but we should have a decent shot for at least a few inches of snow and maybe a low-end powder day around the 16th.
