Flakes!

Summary

Our next chance for snow will be Friday afternoon and evening with 1-to- 4 inches as the most likely amount.

Update

On Wednesday night, a storm sideswiped northeastern Colorado and we were hoping for a little fresh snow with low expectations. Those low expectations turned out to be correct as we saw just a few flakes (you can see them at the top of the ruler on the snow stake cam).

Thursday will be dry and partly to mostly cloudy for most of the day with a high temperature in the 20s.

Friday could start out a little sunnier, then another sideswiping storm will bring some snow to Colorado during the afternoon and evening. This system will be a little bit stronger than the system on Wednesday night, so we'll have a better chance for measurable snow, likely in the 1-to-4 inch range. My expectations remain very low, but with some luck and the benefit of a favorable wind from the northwest and north-northwest, there might be a bit of soft snow to enjoy on Friday's last chair or more likely on Saturday's first chair.

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be dry and mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 20s on Saturday and in the 30s on Sunday and Monday.

Our next chance for snow will be later on Tuesday, February 15, and throughout Wednesday, February 16. This storm will likely track well to the south of Colorado, which is not a great track for us, but we should at least see some snow accumulation and it's possible that there could be some powder on February 16 with snow lingering into February 17.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
