Snow totals and the 10-day forecast

Summary

Wednesday delivered snow all day and there will be freshies to enjoy on Thursday morning.

Update

We were thinking that Wednesday afternoon would be fun with a few inches of new snow and that there would be a few inches of new snow on Wednesday evening as well, with maybe a chance to see more snow than this due to a favorable wind direction. What actually happened was on the lower side, with 2 inches accumulating on Wednesday and another 2 inches accumulating on Wednesday night.

Conditions now on Thursday morning should be reasonably soft thanks to the powder that was skied on Wednesday and the additional 2 inches of fluff on top from Wednesday night. Dress warmly as temperatures on Thursday morning will start around 0°F and only warm into the teens.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be dry with a high of around 20°F on Friday and highs around 30°F on Saturday and Sunday.

Looking ahead to next week, we will see a chance for snow every day from Monday, February 21 through Friday, February 25 due to storm energy stalling near and to the southwest of Colorado during most of the week. This pattern with storm energy to our southwest is not the most favorable for us to see significant snow totals, but at least some snow should fall on most or all days of the week, which should lead to soft and fun conditions.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
