Friday morning pow:-)

Summary

More snow than expected fell on Thursday night, so it's a powder day with 6 inches of fluffy snow on Friday morning.

Update

We were going to be on the edge of the storm for Thursday night and expected 2-6 inches of snow.

The good news is that the storm moved just a bit farther south and we went out of the high-end of the forecast range with 2 inches falling on Thursday + 6 inches falling on Thursday night = 8 inches of snow from this storm, and most of it will be available as untracked powder on Friday morning.

Yes, there are just a few trails open, but it'll be fun to enjoy the new, fluffy snow to close out the week! Snow could continue through mid-morning on Friday with light additional accumulations, then the snow should shut off by midday.

Looking ahead, we won't have much weather to talk about for at least 7-10 days.

The weekend will be dry and sunny with high temperatures in the 20s.

Early next week will be dry and sunny with high temperatures in the 30s.

Around Wednesday, November 23 to Thursday, November 24, there is a low chance for a little bit of snow if a storm happens to track close enough to Colorado, but this is a low chance.

Then during the final days of November and into early December, we have about a 50/50 chance that storminess along the west coast will move east and bring snow to Colorado. Let's hope that these odds improve!
