Storm incoming!

Summary

Tuesday will be mostly dry, then we'll see snow from Tuesday evening through Thursday midday.

Update

Monday was a warm day with temperatures near 30 degrees and we even saw some breaks of sunshine with otherwise mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday will be a transition day as we'll start with dry weather and some breaks of sunshine, then we'll see more clouds during the afternoon and there might even be light snow by late afternoon or evening.

Tuesday night will be the first part of the storm. We will have an unfavorable wind direction from the southwest and this will likely result in just low accumulations. My expectation for Wednesday morning's snow total is on the lower end, maybe a dusting to an inch. That said, with a LOT of moisture in the air, we might be able to get more snow than expected.

Wednesday will be the second part of the storm. The wind direction will be unfavorable in the morning then switch by midday or early afternoon and blow from the west or west-northwest, which is favorable for deeper snowfall. Snowfall on Wednesday afternoon could amount to 2-4+ inches by the last chair. Wednesday late afternoon should offer the best turns of the day.

Wednesday night will be the final part of the storm. We should see an additional 2-4+ inches of fluffy snow with soft and fun turns on Thursday morning.

From Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon, we should see mostly dry weather.

During the first part of the weekend, Friday evening through Saturday evening, another storm might bring enough snow to make Saturday a low-end powder day. We'll see.

Then from Sunday through Monday, another storm will bring snow with potential powder during the first few days of 2023.

This is an active weather pattern and it's about as much as we can hope for, if you like snow:-).
