Some snow, and now it's cold
Summary
Snow fell on Tuesday, and now Wednesday will be cold with just light snow.
Update
On Tuesday, we were in between a departing storm to the east and an incoming storm to the west. During this time, I thought that a favorable wind from the west and northwest could deliver some snow, and we did see 1 inch during the day with another 1 (ish) inch on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday, the current storm will track just a little too far to the south to bring us significant snow, and we'll likely see cloudy skies, some snow showers, and cold temperatures that stay around the single digits.
On Wednesday night, as the storm departs, we might see a few snow showers as the wind switches back to blow from the west and northwest, though moisture will be low and I don't expect much or any snow accumulation.
From Thursday through Saturday, we will see dry weather and mostly sunny skies. The temperature on Thursday will be chilly with a high in the single digits, then Friday and Saturday will be warmer with highs in the 20s.
Looking further ahead, the weather is going to turn stormy with multiple chances for snow as we close out the final 10 days of February. We could see snow showers on Sunday, February 19, a chance for significant snow sometime between February 20-22, and then another storm could arrive later next week around February 23-24. And there could be yet another storm sometime around February 27. Good stuff:-)
