Wednesday brought a few snow showers and no accumulation, then on Wednesday night, the storm energy moved over Colorado, we saw a period of steady snow, and we received 6 inches of new snow at mid-mountain. Due to warmer temperatures during the snowfall, this new powder should be relatively dense and surfy.

Looking ahead, the weather on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be mainly dry with just a few snow showers and maybe a little more accumulation on Thursday morning as the storm moves away. The high temperature each day will range from the high teens to the low-20s, but the higher sun angle of late March should make the temperature feel warmer.

Next week, from Monday, March 20 to Friday, March 24, a strong storm will move through Colorado. From March 20-21, we could see less snow due to an unfavorable wind direction from the southwest, and from March 22-24, we could see more snow due to a favorable wind direction from the west to northwest. I am keeping my eye on next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as potential powder days and we will narrow down the details during the next few days.
