Trending sunny on Sunday
Summary
Following fun powder on Saturday, we'll trend toward dry and sunnier weather on Sunday. Then two storms will bring more snow next week.
Update
Saturday was a super-fun powder day with about 12 inches of snow from Friday night, another 3 inches on Saturday morning, and this was on top of 4 inches of snow from the previous few days. This led to soft conditions and a gift of a powder day for mid-April.
Now on Sunday morning, clouds and snow flurries are hanging on, but I think they will dissipate through the morning.
We should wind up with a day that has some sunshine and drier weather and the high temperature should rise into the low 30s.
Looking ahead to next week, the atmosphere will keep the action coming. Monday and Tuesday will bring snow showers and light accumulations, then from later Tuesday to Wednesday morning, we will likely see moderate to intense snow and the chance for 8-12+ inches of accumulation with powder possible on Wednesday morning.
And if that weren't enough, following dry weather from later Wednesday to Thursday, the next storm will bring more snow from Friday into Friday night with maybe 4-8 inches of accumulation.
Further out, for late April into early May, I have low confidence in the forecast, though I would not bet against the atmosphere delivering more snow through the first week or two of May.
