Mostly sunny and warm, with one caveat

Summary

We'll see mostly sunny and warm weather from Tuesday through Sunday, with the caveat that there will be more clouds and a few snow showers on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Update

Monday

Monday turned out to be mostly sunny by the afternoon, and the high temperature reached the upper 20s.

Tuesday

Tuesday will start mostly sunny and the temperature will rise to the upper 20s by early afternoon.

We will see more clouds during Tuesday late afternoon as moisture increases ahead of a storm that will track to our north.

Tuesday Night - Wednesday Night

From Tuesday night to Wednesday night, the storm to our north will push clouds and a few snow showers over or near the mountain. I think the main impact will be cloudier skies on Wednesday with a snow surface that is slow(er) to soften, and we could see a few snowflakes and light accumulations at any time between Tuesday night and Wednesday night. The high temperature on Wednesday will be in the low 30s.

Thursday - Monday

On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we'll have classic spring riding conditions with mostly sunny skies, high temperatures in the 40s, crunchy snow in the morning, soft snow during the midday, and slushy snow during the afternoon.

Next Snow

A storm will likely bring snow to Colorado on Tuesday, April 16, and we may see additional chances for snow through the rest of the week from Wednesday, April 17, to Friday, April 19 (or beyond). This storm will be warmer than past systems, though Winter Park's high elevation means that precipitation should still fall as snow across the mountain (with no rain at the base).

My next update will be Wednesday morning.
