Tuesday started with dry weather, then the storm arrived during the afternoon and dropped snow through the night. The total snowfall on the mid-mountain snow stake was 5 inches, which was on the higher end of what fell across the northern mountains.

Wednesday morning will be a fun time to be on the hill with fresh snow on the few available runs, clearing skies, and a chilly temperature of 10-15°F to start the day. The afternoon high temperature will be warmer, rising into the upper 20s.

Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday will be sunny and warm with a high temperature in the upper 30s.

Then Saturday and Sunday will be mostly dry with a low chance for showers, and temperatures will be cooler with highs in the 20s.

Our next chance for a storm will be from Monday night through Wednesday morning. There is still a wide range of possible snow totals with some models showing no snow and others showing 6+ inches. A blended forecast is usually best, so we'll look for perhaps 2-6 inches of snow with some potential powder on Tuesday.
