Monday & Tuesday
Monday and Tuesday will be warm and windy.
The high temperatures will be around 35-40°F and overnight lows might not drop below freezing. Also, winds will be strong with gusts of 30-50 mph at the summit.
Wednesday & Thursday
Wednesday will be dry and temperatures will be a little cooler with a high of around 30-35°F.
On Wednesday night, a storm tracking to the north of Colorado should deliver some flakes, but most of the accumulation will be north of the mountain and there might only be a coating to 2 inches of snow.
On Thursday, there could be a little new for first chair, and the rest of the day should trend drier with a high temperature of around 30-35°F and continued gusty winds.
Friday
Friday will be the final day of warmer temperatures and gusty winds. Like earlier in the week, the high temperature should be around 30-35°F with wind gusts of 30-50 mph.
Saturday
On Friday night, a storm will bring snow to Colorado, and Saturday morning should offer some powder with perhaps 2-5+ inches of new snow. Saturday will be cooler with a high temperature in the teens, and wind speeds will be slower compared to the previous week and not much of an issue.
Longer Range
Sunday through the first half of the following week (February 9-12) should be dry with temperatures in the teens and 20s. Then the next potential storm could bring snow between about February 12-14.

On a personal note, last night I returned from our family ski trip and will be back on a normal daily posting schedule. Thanks for your understanding during the past two weeks as I attempted to balance time with family and frequent updates. In short, it was a dream trip for us, especially since our son (age 7) is in this beautiful age where he is a capable and helpful traveler, can ski most of the same terrain that my wife and I ski, and he's young enough that he still likes hanging out with his parents:-)
My next update will be on Tuesday morning.
Thanks for reading!
