Wednesday
On Tuesday night, the storm delivered 4 inches at mid-mountain (with 3 of those inches falling at night). Unfortunately, the higher snow totals stayed just to the north and west of the mountain and I was surprised that Winter Park didn't crank out a few extra inches.
On Wednesday, enjoy the morning freshies, and dress warmly as temperatures will be close to 0°F with snow showers and minimal accumulation for most of the day.
Thursday
Thursday should be dry and partly sunny with a high temperature of around 20°F.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
A strong storm with a LOT of moisture will bring snow from Thursday night to Saturday night.
On Thursday night and Friday, there will be a lot of moisture, but the wind direction will not be favorable, so snow totals could be moderate with 3-7 inches of accumulation. There should be some softening and deepening snow by Friday midday and afternoon. Also, temperatures will be warm, so snow quality could be thicker than normal.
On Friday night, Saturday, and Saturday night, the wind direction will be favorable, so snow totals could be higher, with another 3-7+ inches of accumulation. Temperatures will cool, so the snow quality should be fluffier.
It is possible/likely that snow will linger past the last chair on Saturday afternoon and continue through Saturday at midnight, so Sunday morning could be soft/deep/fluffy if things come together just right.
To recap, I think Friday starts with new snow and gets deeper through the day, Saturday also starts with new snow and gets deeper through the day, and with some luck, Sunday morning could also be powdery.
Sunday
Other than the potential for powder on Sunday morning due to new snow from Saturday night, Sunday should be dry with a high temperature in the low 20s.
Monday & Tuesday
A storm will bring snow from Sunday night through Tuesday and there will likely be powder on Monday and Tuesday, with a chance that snow lingers into Wednesday morning.
Longer Range
Another storm is possible around Friday, February 21 to Saturday, February 22, and then yet another storm could bring snow around Wednesday, February 26.
