Thursday
Thursday will be dry.
The morning will be clear and cold with temperatures below zero.
The afternoon will be cloudier and warmer with temperatures in the low 20s.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
A strong storm with a LOT of moisture will bring snow from Thursday night to Saturday night.
Thursday night: Snow will fall, moisture will be plentiful, and the wind direction will be unfavorable. This should lead to 0-2 inches of accumulation. Plentiful moisture can push these numbers up, but I am hesitant to get excited based on the unfavorable wind direction.
Friday: There should be some powder in the morning with snow falling all day. This should lead to 2-5 inches of accumulation. The wind direction will not be ideal, but the high amount of moisture and storm energy should somewhat counteract the poor wind direction.
Friday night: There could be a lull in the snow with 1-4 inches of accumulation. The wind direction will become favorable, but there might be a lack of storm energy. We'll see.
Saturday: There should be some powder (or at least soft conditions) on Saturday morning, and more snow will fall during the day as the wind direction and storm energy become more favorable. This should lead to another 3-6+ inches of accumulation and soft conditions throughout the day.
Saturday night: Keep your eye on the snow stake cam on Saturday night. Most forecast data shows little snow, but with a favorable wind direction, cooling temperatures, and lingering moisture, there could be surprise/bonus snow between Saturday's last chair and Saturday at midnight, so there might be fun powder on Sunday morning.
Total snowfall should be in the 8-16 inch range with soft snow and powder on Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday morning. Temperatures will be reasonable during the storm, generally in the low 20s. Enjoy!
Sunday
On Sunday morning there could be powder on the ground with dry skies overhead.
On Sunday afternoon and evening, the next storm could bring snow.
Monday & Tuesday
A storm will bring snow from Sunday night through Tuesday and there will likely be powder on Monday and Tuesday, with a chance that snow lingers into Wednesday morning. I still have low-ish confidence in the details, so stay tuned.
Longer Range
Another storm is possible around Friday, February 21 to Saturday, February 22, and then there should be drier weather from about February 23 to February 28.
