Friday Morning

The first part of the storm on Thursday night delivered just a coating of snow.

This is in line with what I expected as the poor wind direction from the southwest usually keeps snow totals on the lower end.

Friday

On Friday, the wind direction will not be ideal, but the high amount of moisture and storm energy should somewhat counteract the poor wind direction and there could be another 2-5 inches of snow during the day. The high temperature will be in the mid-20s.

Saturday

On Friday night, there could be a lull in the snow with 1-4 inches of accumulation. The wind direction will become favorable, but there might be a lack of storm energy. This means that there should be some new snow for Saturday morning, but the untouched snow might not be very deep.

On Saturday, the wind direction and storm energy will become more favorable, and there will be snow showers all day with some times of intense snow and maybe some breaks in the snow. This should lead to another 3-6 inches of accumulation and soft conditions throughout the day. Saturday's high temperature will be in the upper teens.

Sunday

On Sunday morning, there should be soft conditions due to the snow from Saturday and because there will likely be some snow accumulation after lifts close on Saturday afternoon. Otherwise, Sunday morning will be dry.

Then on Sunday afternoon, the next storm will likely start producing snow. The high temperature on Sunday will be in the low 20s.

Monday to Wednesday

A storm will bring snow from Sunday afternoon through Wednesday morning and there will likely be powder on Monday and Tuesday, with a chance that snow lingers into Wednesday morning. I still have low-ish confidence in the forecast and hope to figure out the details on Saturday.

Longer Range

Another storm is possible around Friday, February 21 to Saturday, February 22, and then there should be drier weather from about February 23 to February 28.
