Update

As of 8AM Thursday 2” have fallen overnight and light snow continues to fall. Radar indicates a strong westerly flow of plenty of moisture so the light snow will continue all day into tonight with another 3-6” possible by Friday morning. A cold front will bring in the winds during Thursday afternoon with SW winds up to 25mph on the ridges and in the alpine. The active weather pattern will continue Friday but with sporadic snow showers with maybe another inch or two. Friday will be noticeably colder with highs around 20 at 8000’ with gusty SW winds 15-25mph. A mix of clouds and snow showers look to be the forecast through the weekend along with the colder temps.
